wgs. is a creative space founded by Vancouver based designer S.W Park. Park’s vision has long been at the deep core of design which is mostly driven by creative thoughts and ideas that aren’t necessarily under industry expectation. wgs. was created to realize this vision through collection of raw ideas and expressions that are translated into different form of design arts.

As creative individuals, design was always considered as a live form of various ideas and creative thoughts. Modelling a rough concept into a well-thought-out design piece is perhaps one of the attributes that make designers dream and do what they do. But the industry has a lot to count for and there’s always different factors that can alter designers’ creatives in real life. Most projects involve numerous stakeholders and delivering a design solution doesn’t always reflect creator’s entire idea. Even though some of those neglected parts of ideas are also what make them who they are as designers.

At wgs. the focus is to deliver full perspective of designer’s ideas and creatives. It’s a brand and space where a designer can showcase both personal and client-based work, while revealing the full aspect of designer’s creative thoughts. The interests and influences that inspire creatives at wgs. come from designers themselves. It’s about what made them to be creatives: be inspired and create what you love.

We believe what we enjoy creating is what defines us as designers. In broader perspective, we believe doing what we love makes us better individuals. We spend great amount of time and effort to work with clients to develop well-made designs because we love what we do. Yet, we don’t stop there. We constantly design our own materials because there’s something more in our own creatives that no other creatives have. It’s a point of return and at wgs. we keep coming back here to create what we love.
